Wildlife

Maasai Mara Game Drive

The entrance to Maasai Mara National Reserve is about 5 minutes from camp, which makes early starts easy. Head out while the animals are active and, depending on the season and animal movements, look for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and antelope.

Private Conservancy Night Game Drive

After sunset, head into Nashulai, a private conservancy, with a guide to watch wildlife at night and learn about the local ecosystem and conservation work. Past sightings include buffalo and spotted hyenas, including hyenas feeding on wildebeest.

Secret Hide

A hide overlooking a waterhole. Main lights are switched off and only low outdoor lighting stays on, to reduce disturbance to wildlife. Wait quietly and watch the water after dark — spotted hyenas sometimes come to drink. Wine and snacks can be reserved in advance and are priced separately.

Observation Tower

Climb the tower for a higher view over the surrounding grassland, hillsides and camp. A fine spot for sunset or for scanning for distant animals, and an easy short stop in a day of other activities.
